battery-tray

GTK3/AppIndicator systray application for monitoring battery status and configuring the SMC charge limit on Intel MacBooks running Linux.

There is no equivalent in the Ubuntu/Debian repos. This fills the gap for Intel MacBook users who want:

Live battery indicator — percentage label and themed icon in the system tray, updated every 5 seconds
Charge limit control — GUI slider to set the SMC BCLM threshold via pkexec, persists across reboots
Low-battery notifications — warnings at 20% and critical alerts at 10% via notify-send
Session autostart — installs to /etc/xdg/autostart/ for automatic launch
