Blender 5.0 — the free and open-source 3D creation suite for modelling, animation, sculpting, rendering, compositing, and video editing.
Ubuntu 24.04 ships Blender 4.0.2, now over two years old and missing two major release cycles of improvements. This build provides Blender 5.0.1 (December 2025), a significant upgrade:
