Why this build?

Ubuntu 24.04 ships xfwm4 4.18.0. This build provides the latest upstream 4.20 series plus NetLinux-specific enhancements:

Toggle window decorations — hide or restore the titlebar and border on any window via the right-click window menu ("Hide Decorations" / "Show Decorations") or a configurable keyboard shortcut (toggle_decorations_key). Useful for maximising screen space on small displays or for borderless workflows
Meson build system — upstream has migrated from autotools to meson for faster, more reliable builds
Latest compositor improvements — includes all upstream fixes for XPresent, XDamage, and compositing performance
Bug fixes — all upstream fixes since 4.18.0 including window placement, keyboard handling, and multi-monitor improvements

Toggle decorations

The NetLinux build adds the ability to remove and restore window decorations (titlebar and border) at runtime, similar to the "Un/Decorate" feature in Openbox.
